Don't know about you guys, but in preparation for Friday's Arena night, I have upgraded the server to version 1.02. Problem is, I have also upgraded my client version from 1.01 to 1.02, but when I try to connect to our server, I'm being told that my client engine is still version 1.01. I tried again with same result. Anyone else had any luck? I'm using the client side upgrade zip file for Windows, and not the full install only the upgrade package.

I think you didn't apply patch properly. Can you check dates of your dll in ag2\bin. It should be 05/07/2010 (dd/mm/yyyy) 6:59pm. If not you didn't install like it should. Patch auto-installer (.exe) makes it a lot easier by selecting the good folder automatically.

I used auto installer and had same trouble as Mick. Then tried the zip file and everything was fine. I would recommend using the zip file. The hit reg seems spot on. I thought the nades were going to be coloured, ie blue and red. both teams are red.

It means it does not find the correct key in your registry.
About colored nades, in vanilla cvar pg_sv_reg_fragteamcolored must be set to 1 (it is managed server side).

Autoinstaller worked fine for me when I installed. It was decided to not have coloured grenades a default for original mode so not to annoy the purists. so the command Janek stated needs addign to the server config.

Thrown nades in AG2 are now coloured red for rebels and blue for Combine. Tested and working.
