Tim & I went out with our cameras at the weekend to Dungeness, one of the strangest and bleakest places around. Fortunately we got dead lucky with the weather, which slowly turned from a dull grey and misty day when I left home to glorious day by the time we met up down there. This is the first time I've been out and used my new camera (Canon 40D for those that care) in anger and I'm pretty pleased with the results.

ah you were just down the road from the rspb bird reserve that my uncle used to manage, lovely part of the world that... spent several summers pike fishing down that way.

Yes, we drove passed it. Looking at their regular species I may well have to make a trip down there when I get a chance.

here are several photos i have taken during the last 3 weeks while my best mate was visiting from Australia.

We went went to a few places in the UK and then over to Amsterdam and Prague.
